Wayne-Westland Community School District is conducting a series of Climate and Culture Survey Meetings to better understand the perceptions, feelings, and needs of the district. The information provided from this process will inform the district on how to support systemic improvements to best meet the needs of our school community.


Please drop into one of the following meetings and offer your input.

  • Tuesday, January 9, 2018
    Time: 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
    Location: John Glenn High School, Media Center Conference Room

Welcome new assistant superintendents!

Please welcome Jennifer Curry and Rebecca Pek as our new assistant superintendents! Jill Simmons is our new Senior Executive Director for Employee Governmental and Community Relations. They were officially awarded this position on December 21st, 2017.

Jen-Curry
Jennifer Curry has been the principal of PD Graham elementary school since July of 2007. She is now the Assistant Superintendent of Standards, Learning, and Innovation.

Jill Simmons
Jill Simmons has been our Human Resources Director since May of 2014. She is now our Senior Executive Director for Employee Governmental and Community Relations.

Rebecca Pek
Rebecca Pek has been our Director of Human Resources since July of 2014. She is now the Assistant Superintendent of Professional Learning and Accountability.
